Will AI take my job?
No score can promise the future. It can help you examine the work.
The score is a relative index of task exposure from 0 to 100. It is not a percentage chance of losing a job or a forecast of layoffs. Individual tasks, employer choices, adoption, and regulation all matter.
There is no honest universal deadline
Task capability, business adoption, and employment outcomes are different questions. Reliability, cost, demand, regulation, and organizational choices affect what happens between them.
This assessment does not establish that a high-scoring job disappears in two years or that a low-scoring job is protected for five. Treat precise claims like those as requiring their own evidence.
A tool can change the shape of a role
When a task becomes easier, an organization can use that capacity in different ways: more output, a different service, changed responsibilities, or a staffing change. The score does not determine which choice will be made.
Investigate your actual setting. Which work is growing? Where are mistakes costly? What responsibilities do customers and colleagues need someone to own?
Read the result in context
The Index provides a relative 0 to 100 estimate, task explanations, and occupational context. It does not know your employer plans or measure your performance.
Check the explanation against your week. If it misses a key responsibility, that is a reason to question the result. The methodology explains the sources and limitations.
Build a next step from evidence
Choose one permitted task experiment, one skill to strengthen, and one conversation with a practitioner or manager. Review what you learn before committing to expensive training or a change of role.
The AI and career guides cover industry changes and a career resilience plan. The Pro Report offers a deeper generated reading, with recommendations to evaluate rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Frequently asked questions
Will AI take my job in the next five years?
This tool cannot predict that. It can help you examine estimated task exposure and identify questions to investigate in your own role.
Are any jobs permanently safe?
No permanent guarantee is established here. Lower estimated exposure does not remove other sources of career uncertainty.
How long does the assessment take?
It is designed to be brief. Completion time depends on your input, network conditions, and model availability.
Sources and methodology
The score is a relative index of task exposure from 0 to 100. It is not a percentage chance of losing a job or a forecast of layoffs. Individual tasks, employer choices, adoption, and regulation all matter.
The Index uses stored BLS-based occupation data. O*NET, OECD capability indicators, and task-exposure research are contextual references. The derivation of the stored occupation scores is not reproducibly documented in the published dataset.
The source snapshot does not record the wage-survey year or employment-projection window. Check the original BLS release before treating these figures as current. Editorial changes and export dates do not establish data freshness.
