The Replaceability Index

Am I replaceable by AI?

Your work deserves a closer look than a headline.

The score is a relative index of task exposure from 0 to 100. It is not a percentage chance of losing a job or a forecast of layoffs. Individual tasks, employer choices, adoption, and regulation all matter.

Start with what you actually do

A title can hide the most important part of your role. List the tasks you perform, the decisions you make, the people who depend on you, and the situations where an error matters.

The free AI job assessment can help organize that picture. Describe your actual work to explore estimated task exposure. It cannot determine your personal worth or know what your employer plans to do.

A score is a signal

The Index uses a relative scale from 0 to 100. Higher means greater estimated task exposure within the model. A value of 70 does not mean a 70% chance of losing your job or a measured 70% of working time that can be automated.

Personal results can be generated from your task description or use a matched occupation fallback. Public occupation values are stored estimates. Read the methodology for the differences.

Use the tier to orient yourself

Shielded, Exposed, Targeted, and Boss are names for ranges on the product scale. They help organize a result. They are not scientific categories, promises of safety, or replacement deadlines.

The explanation behind the number matters more than small differences between scores. Look for a concrete task you can investigate.

Make one useful move

Test an appropriate recurring task with an approved tool and non-sensitive material. Include checking and correction in the cost of the workflow. Record what worked and what did not.

Then choose a responsibility or skill to deepen. The career resilience guide provides a flexible sequence. You do not need to decide your whole future today.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tell me whether I will lose my job?

No. It estimates relative task exposure. Employer plans, local demand, personal circumstances, and future technology are outside that claim.

Is the initial assessment free?

Yes. The initial score does not require a paid report.

Is this an OECD or BLS score?

No. The Index is independent. It uses occupational context and research references, but its scores are not official or endorsed by those organizations.

Sources and methodology

The score is a relative index of task exposure from 0 to 100. It is not a percentage chance of losing a job or a forecast of layoffs. Individual tasks, employer choices, adoption, and regulation all matter.

The Index uses stored BLS-based occupation data. O*NET, OECD capability indicators, and task-exposure research are contextual references. The derivation of the stored occupation scores is not reproducibly documented in the published dataset.

The source snapshot does not record the wage-survey year or employment-projection window. Check the original BLS release before treating these figures as current. Editorial changes and export dates do not establish data freshness.
